PIX QUIZ -
Cisco PIX/IOS Firewall Command Trainer
This is an application that I have written in Visual
Basic 6.0 to practice the syntax of the command languages in the Cisco PIX Firewall and
the Cisco IOS Firewall Feature Set.
Feel free to use this program as a much as you like,
and if you would like to share it with others please feel free to do that as well, as long
as you do not try to sell it to anyone.
NOTE!
These programs are created in Microsoft Visual
Basic 6.0, and you will need to download the MSVBVM60.DLL into your system
folder if you do not already have it.
Also, some Windows OS do no have the MSSTDFMT.DLL, so if you receive
an error message about that file not being there, you will need to place it in your system
folder, and run regsvr32 c:\windows\system\msstdfmt.dll from a DOS
prompt.
TIPS
When accessing the PIX's PDM software, remember
three things:
The http server must be enabled on the PIX (on by
default)
Http access from the client must be permitted (on
by default)
Remember the 'S' in https://<ip-address>
when you access the PDM from your browser.
